Living History Farms – 100-year Old House

Foundation Repair and Basement Waterproofing

The summer of 2010 we had the honor of working with central Iowa’s Living History Farms.  On site, they have a house that is 100+ years old that was in need of some “updating.”  With water leaks and bowed walls from the aged 100-year old foundation, the house had definitely seen better (and dryer) days.

The Better Basement crew took charge and waterproofed the house foundation and basement. As you can see from the photos below, it was no easy task, but the crew had their game faces on and were able to improve the quality of the basement and assure the foundation of this 100-year old house would last for many more years to come.
